Li Cunxin studied ballet in Beijing then joined Houston Ballet ( Texas). He
retired at 38 after dancing worldwide to huge acclaim. He now lives in Melbourne, Australia. His autobiography has been adapted by Jan Sardi and is being filmed in 2008, directed by Bruce Beresford.
